SHISEIDO ROREST VALLEY APP & VISUAL SYSTEM
Not many projects would have the creative team, UX folks and project managers walking the ground. But we did just that – putting ourselves in the shoes of a user navigating the trail. Essentially, this was a project grounded in CX (customer experience) but brought to life by UX (user experience). And we couldn’t be happier with how our labour of love turned out
An app to navigate through the different senses
We created the S E N S E app to guide people through the four levels. Each is designed to highlight a different sense and the app is linked to Bluetooth beacons that pick up on one’s location. This means anyone can start the experience anywhere on the four levels and take whichever route they please.
We leave traces of ourselves behind everywhere we go.
Shopping history, health queries, locations, private messages, even offline
These personal footprints don’t disappear even after you leave
But it’s hard to see that
So we designed a 16-bit interactive game to make a clear point
Protecting your data is the same as protecting your valuables at home
The results opened people’s eyes
Participants saw how they treat their data determines where they live
From dilapidated sheds to solid fortresses
Mr Lim’s Shop of Visual Treasure champions local artists, pairing heavyweights with emerging voices. Their work reflects the zeitgeist, often offering socially conscious commentary on Singapore’s challenges and the everyday struggles of its people. Drawing on visual cues from traditional Chinese medicine, the exhibition frames art as both acupuncture and pain relief--stimulating, balancing, and soothing the cultural pulse.
